AgnonEstate 2024 Appointments. On Friday, August 2 , at 9:30 p.m., in the beautiful setting of the Cloister of San Francesco, the Italian Alpine Club (CAI) Choir of Lanciano will perform a brilliant and sophisticated repertoire betweenclassic Alpine songs and Abruzzo and Italian folkloric culture.
The CAI Choir was founded in 2008 at the behest of the Italian Alpine Club section of Lanciano and is composed of twenty-five elements, mostly male, enhanced by female voices that create perfect harmony.
It is conducted by Maestro Nicola Gaeta. The choir has performed in numerous concerts and choral festivals, from Lanciano to L’Aquila, Teramo, Rome, Sondrio, Frosinone, Leonessa and Frosolone. It organizes the annual choral festival “Let’s Sing Christmas in Choir,” hosting important Italian choral groups in the city of Lanciano. In 2022 the choir was selected by Arca Cori Abruzzo for the recording of the album “Choral Shades.” Between a “Valsugana” and a “Vola Vola,”the CAI Lanciano Choir awaits you in Agnone.
